The Kennett Bookhouse was originally established in its current location as Thomas Macaluso Used and Rare Books in 1989. Under new ownership since April 2019 and recently renovated, our mission is to become your favorite neighborhood bookstore. We carry a diverse selection of new books plus bookish gifts and merchandise. Every new book you purchase helps us give back to the community! 10% of new book sales are donated to local charities.
We invite you to browse the shelves, enjoy a complimentary coffee in one of our cozy chairs, and escape from the world while finding the perfect book to inspire your imagination.
Please note: We do not accept book donations or buy used books
We do not offer book binding or repair services
